We have a 2019 Cutwater 30 S. I posted about a week ago about the smell from the fresh water and received great info about how to fix. As part of this process, I want to turn off the power for the fresh water pump so that I can remove and clean the screen, but cannot determine how to do that! I tried every random accessory listed on the panel, but was unable to isolate the power for the pump.

Next question...how do I turn off the water to the marine head? We have a fresh water conversion for our head and I cannot locate a valve to turn off the water.

I have looked through the owners manual for both issues, and found nothing!

Any help greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Have your turned the House battery switch off? Additionally, our 2023 R27 OB has an on/off switch for the freash water system on the tank level gauge.

Our head is fresh water flush, and water only gets to the head when the water system is turned on. There is no valve to open: there is a check valve to prevent backflow.

I cleaned the filter on our water pump at the beginning of this season and it took about 5 minutes after turning off the house battery switch.

Thank you Serendipity for your response. Great tip re: house battery. I should have thought of that! We do not have a on/off switch on the tank level gauge.
Our head is experiencing a back flow problem, so after emptying the holding tank, I will attempt to fix that. A job made easier by your suggestion. Thanks for your help!

The back flow problem is more than likely a bad Joker valve. There is a reason they call it that name and it's not a "joke".....if you know what I mean.
Though, I will say, after changing it the head flushes like it was brand new! We always carry one in our "inventory " of necessary boat parts.

Hi CaptT,

Thanks for the heads up 🙂 regarding the joker valve. I will order one today!
