My wife and I own a 2008 R-25 and am interested in the possibility of installing a level measurement system on the water tank similar to what we have on our RV. Problem is, I do not know exactly where it is, what shape it is and how to get access to it. Would it be possible for the factory to provide information on how best to access it and what its shape is? Information on tank shape was provided for the fuel tank sometime back. Similar information on the water tank would be helpful. Thank you in advance.. John Turner

John, I assume you've seen the diagram on page 24 of the R25 owners manual? this shows the tank midships just about even with the helm under the deck. There should be some sort of access there. This is assuming the 2008 is the same as the 2009 which is the year the manual is for. It's under the technical bulletins if you don't have it, you can download it and print it if you need to.

The tank is directly below the main floor between the helm & 1st mate station. There were previous posts a while back that showed access and enlargement of access from the step area below berth area. I had wanted some sort of level indication but gave up as too hard. One could probably fix a direct visual indication of tank from that step area for someone younger or less stiff than myself
