Is there a way to empty the main water rank easily and quickly?

I know of no other way then to open up all the faucets to let the water drain, including the hot water tank. If there is another way I'd also like to know.

On the R-31, you can take the hose off the water pump and drain the tank into a bucket after opening up all the faucets and draining it as much as you can. Mine still has about 5 gallons left after opening the faucets. Of course, it helps if you have 6 foot arms with lights on your fingers 😀

Towards the end of the season, I keep the tank only about a 1/4 full so there is less to drain when it is time to winterize.

Sounds like there isn't. ..and with the two faucets not working, I'm thinking it's going to take time.

Maybe a "T" fitting on the supply side before the pump and then hooking up a high volume pump. Cap it off when you don't need it. Another thought would be to permanently install the pump with a switch and valve and let it run into the bilge. When you pull the boat and remove the hull plug just turn on the pump and let it rip.

I use a wet/dry vac to remove the last drop of water available from the water tank. Merely remove the inlet supply and apply the vacuum nozzle. I duct tape a small section of clear tube on the end of the vacuum nozzle to to confirm water is still moving. It is faster than waiting for a tank/lines to drain by hand. Remember there may be a check valve to contend with.
I do the same to pull water from the water lines and the water heater. Pumping leaves water in the lines that dilutes the RV antifreeze, vacuuming removes most of the water.
