We have done the dark blue hull twice a year since owning our Ranger Tug R29, but until now have just washed the superstructure. It was starting to look a little faded and spotty, especially the dark blue eyebrow. The white areas don't show the effects of weather and oxidation like the colored areas, but it's still there. We just finished doing the superstructure, and it made a big difference in the appearance of the boat. We used a one step color restorer followed by boat wax. The dark blue trim showed the biggest improvement, but the buff colored band around the base of the cabin is much shinier as well. We also applied rub rail restorer to the black rubber. I suspect it's the same stuff sold at auto parts stores for use on tires. The whole boat now looks almost like new.
