HI,
We (Ela and Jeff) just signed documents making us the owners of the R27 Bobolink with the help of Bellingham Yacht Sales and Peoples Bank!
I can hardly wait to go up and get 'er! We are going to keep the name Bobolink (which is a small chirpy bird) as it seems to keep us from arguing about what else to name it, and we kinda like it anyway.
We will be making our maiden voyage on Saturday/Sunday working our way down from Bellingham to Tacoma. 😀
Many of you have helped to get us to this point. Andrew and the Ranger Tug staff, thank you for all your help and we will eventually go up to a new R31 from you! John and Laurie Gray on the Andiamo have had infinite patience for a ton of questions.

Ela and I are going to register for the Tug Rendevous in Sept now. I have wanted to for months, but wanted to wait until we had a boat so I would not jinx the process.
Great boats, great people to meet and great fun ahead.
Jeff and Ela

Congrats and welcome to the Ranger family.
We have an R27 and love it. Every time you climb aboard you will love it more.
We are in Gig Harbor if you get over that way look us up.

Hi Jim- we are from Eugene, Or but will keep the boat up in Tacoma for the boating season, so I am certain we will see you in Gig sooner than later!

Jeff & Ela: Fantastic.... you are going to love the R27.... smashing news.... see you at the Roche Habour meeting. I like the "Bobolink" name.

Congrats on your new purchase. I hope you love your 27 as much as I do the 25. The only thing to think about is how long you have it before you upsize! You will find the people on this forum and the peolle at the factory to be extremely helpful and supportive.

Congratulations.,

Jeff and Ela,

Congrats from fellow R-27 owners in Oregon! Sounds like you will remain up in the Washington area through the current boating season. After that, will you be back down in Oregon? Perhaps around the Columbia/Willamette where several of us Tugnuts are trying (so far, somewhat unsuccessfully) to convene?

Hi Gin- once we get a trailer we will probably bring 'er to the columbia for part of the winter, yes!
