We purchased the boat on Wednesday (2017 R31CB), and haven't got off since.
We are cruising around Perdido Key in Florida. Have to fly home on Monday. We will be having the boat shipped in the next 30 days to Baltimore, where we live.
The boat handles better than expected. We are coming from an Albin 36. Our Albin is a 1978. Getting something nearly 40 years younger is pretty nice (save the wise cracks please, I made that one too easy!).
We expected this to be much more tender, but not so. She does the slow cruise beautifully and we can jump up to 15-17 knots burning 10-12 gph. Lots of creature comforts. Very happy with our choice.
Perhaps some have read my posts over the last year, asking for information and getting great advice.
Thank you all! Looking forward to lots more interaction.
BTW, Emile Petro, Edgewater Marine/Modern tugs, was outstanding to work with. This guy knows how to build a reputation.
See you on the water!
