We have purchased a Ranger Tug 25 !!!

We are excited to announce we have purchased a 2008 Ranger Tug 25 in Wilmington, NC. She is currently named Banjo (Although we plan to change the name since we do not play the Banjo). She is a beautiful boat. We had the survey and sea trial yesterday and all went well. We plan to take possession in the next couple of weeks.

We plan to berth our Ranger Tug at St James Plantation Marina near Southport, NC. We see there is a Ranger Tug (a larger one ) already berthed at St James, anyone know that boat?

I am sure we will be posting many questions in the next few weeks and months. We are excited to be one of your group.

PS We when got home from the sea trial we had the nice Ranger Tug hat in the mail. A good omen!

Maybe it was named "Banjo" due to the old saying,
"banjo owners are easy to smile and hard to annoy."(doesn't say you need to be able to actually play one).

Good thing she wasn't named "accordian".. as in, "use an accordian...do the time." and, "going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion".

I look forward to hearing about your adventures as you learn all about these wonderful boats. My son recently purchased a 25SC and I am enjoying learning about it and all the great features on the boat. Currently I am living aboard it as much as possible and loving every minute, as hopefully you will too!
