2019 R29 CB: the unit is cooling but when the thermostat is set to 70 the unit keeps cooling all night and it is 60 in the morning. Why is the thermostat not controlling the set temp and stopping when it reaches set temp. Yes the fan runs all the time but the compressor is not shutting on and off with the thermostat., how can I fix this?

You are describing two issues. There should be a setting where you can have the fan run constantly or only when the unit calls for cooling or heat. As far as it being 60 degrees when the thermostat is set to 70: I see you are in Florida. We have had some pretty cool mornings. It is possible that it got below 70 at night an hence ambient temperature is 60 with a thermostat set at 70. If your settings are not set to automatic (cool when higher than 70 and heat if below 70 then that can explain your predicament. Another issue is the thermostat placement. What is the ambient temperature at the thermostat? Is the sun shining on it and making it warmer in that area. I would place a thermometer by the thermostat and compare readings. And then you could just have a bad thermostat.
