I have a 2019 R29CB with two Webasto A/C units. When my batteries run low, and while on shore power, both my A/C control digital displays show an E1 error which is a high pressure safety cutoff. The manual says check the water flow. Since the A/C is 120v the only thing I can think of is the seawater pump to the A/C is 12v. Once the battery voltage is back up, the A/C runs fine. Any idea how this problem can exist?

Thanks,
Richard Kent

Just a thought. Have you checked the voltage to the raw water pump to confirm it is 12 volts? My AC unit and the AC pump are both 120 volts. The majority of the pumps are not self priming and if you have an air lock the pumps won’t work and you’ll get the E1 error. How is the water discharge when you get this error?

We had a problem with the high pressure alarm when on both shore power and the generator. The only problem found was the high pressure lead connection was a little lose. Tightened it and it’s been over two years with the A/C working fine.

Just a thought.

Nothing is loose as the only time I get the E1 error is when I have had low voltage on the batteries. When the voltage is corrected the problem goes away. It can run for weeks with no problem as long as the voltage stays up on the batteries which is usually does. Something must be related between the 12v batteries and the A/C.
