Webasto Fuel Filter Change Process

Is there a specific process to change the in line fuel filter on my webasto? I imagine I just remove the cover from the black pump box, take off the clamps, swap the filter, reattach the clamps? Does it take several times of starting the system to get it primed after swapping the filter or is there another process to prime it? TIA!

I replaced my webasto fuel filter a couple months ago. The replacement is like you stated. Just make sure you install it the same way as the one you remove.
Upon firing it up it started right away. But after a couple minutes it shut off. I had to restart and after a bit the system filled back up with fuel. I assume when I first started it there was fuel in the line between the Webasto unit and the filter. Then it got an air bubble. Restarting pushed the air out and all was good.

Thank you. It was about a 10 minute job and didn’t even have to prime it. Worked immediately. Easiest boat project I’ve had in a while !
