Wefings at the Apalachicola Seafood Festival

As usual, Wefings had the Ranger Tug banner flying at the Apalachicola, Florida Seafood Festival this weekend. Every year they bring a tug or two to the festival and we make sure to look them up. It is a family reunion weekend for us as my wife is related to half the town from George and Herbert Marshall to the Power and Anthony families. It is always a great weekend. Mark first introduced us to the R-29 when he got one of the first hulls so we felt a bit guilty when Carolyn and I bought the sixth hull from an outfit that no longer reps Rangers. It was a boat show price, tricked out with stuff we did not need but after calling Mark, he agreed that it was a generous discount. Despite my not getting the R-29 from Wefings, they have always been kind enough to lend me an "ear" when we have had a problem. That is a sure sign of a class outfit. Mark and Dom came through for us again at the festival with some advice that will probably save us about $4K on our lightning strike repair and that ain't small change.
