Hello - We launched our 2010 Ranger 21EC here on the Navesink River in New Jersey in the rain on October 5. The boat, which is Hero Red and tan, was named "Theodore" and properly spashed with some champagne. We purchased the boat from Winters Sailing Center. Don from Winters delivered the boat, gave me a great orientation, and went out with me for the first time. Don has been a huge help, and we would not have purchased the boat without Brian Winter. Our family of four loves the boat. We are sad that our season is quickly coming to a close. When I figure out how to post photos, I'll send some along.

Love this site and have already found useful information. Quick question: I am planning to use Amazing Roll-Off to wash the boat down. Bought a gallon of the concentrate - but have not found a dilution instruction. Any suggestions on the proper dilution to use on the deck and pilot house?

Thanks -

Mike

According to one website:

For cleaning vinyl cushions and Bimini tops, dilute 1 oz. of Roll-Off to 1 gallon of water and wipe or sponge over the surface. Roll-Off quickly removes sticky salt films and will not degrade the water repellency of Bimini tops.
Not sure about other applications, I would think a little stronger than that.

Must be good stuff too, it's so powerful that it won't meet California standards and they won't ship to Cal...

Welcome aboard. I am sure you will love your tug as everyone here does. Be prepared though, every time you go someplace, someone will stop you and admire your boat.

The following website describes how to use Amazing Roll-Off:

Congratulations!!!! We will be cruising up the Navesink tomorrow with some friends to enjoy the fall color change and sights on our 2007 R25, Nauti Dream. Maybe we will see you out there 🙂

Thanks for the replies! Will let you know how I use the ARO. We will be out on Saturday - you can't miss the red hull!

Best -

Hi Mike - congratulations on Theodore and enjoy your weekend on the water.

I sent you a PM (Private Message) with instructions for starting a picture gallery, and some information about the World of Ranger Tugs map. You can access your inbox via your user control panel, or at the top of most pages.

Cheers,

Bruce

We'll be out between 11AM and 1PM. Shaping up to be a beautiful day.

Welcome to the R21 component of TugNuts. It has been very informative for me, a novice boater, and I expect that you will have the same experience. Great site to access when you are scratching your head on some issue as there is so much expertise out there and so many owners with the same model of boat. All the best!
