Hello Tugnuts. After a long time of lurking on this site, researching boats, and coming to know and love the Ranger Tugs; we have made the leap and bought a 2013 Ranger Tug R25sc. We found a gently-used boat at Port Boat House on Vancouver Island, worked out a deal, and now have it here in Whitehorse, Yukon. We have just done our first solo trip, living aboard "Yukon Ranger" on Kusawa Lake for the Labour Day weekend. We couldn't be more thrilled!
Thank you to all the Tugnuts who contribute so much valuable information on this site. It has helped so much with the decision making process, and in pre-learning so much about the boat. There is still lots of learning to do, and I will have many questions to ask now that I know what to ask about.
Looking forward to being part of the Ranger Tug community, and hopefully meeting some of you out on the water, or docks, some day.
Happy boating!
Ron and Barb

Welcome to the Ranger Tug community Ron and Barb and your Yukon Ranger.

Congratulations and welcome.

You're gonna love the 25sc

Hi Ron and Barb! Like you, we've been lurking on the site for quite a while (and learning a LOT); then began 'the hunt' for the boat, and we finally claimed our prize last Friday when our 2015 R-29S was delivered to us in Michigan after a long road trip up from Gulf Shores, Alabama. Despite a few glitches and the steep learning curve (with no manual to guide us), we love the boat - and the Tugnuts forum has been a phenomenal resource for getting answers to questions. So we've only been officially part of the Ranger Tugs community for less than a week, but I already feel very much a part of the family. Welcome!

Kari K.

Welcome to Ron and Barb, and Kari K?!

Welcome aboard!

Cheers

Welcome 🙂 Keep posting we learn from each others failures and triumphs, repairs, and modifications. It is a great community . No question is dumb and we have all made some mistakes and learned from them and used our gained knowledge to help others. You will love your new boat and being an ambassador for the tug family 🙂

Thank you all for the warm welcome! We've enjoyed taking the boat on the lake, and look forward to getting out on the Alaska coast. Unfortunately, boating season is quickly winding down here, and we may have to winterize soon. Still, we look forward to a winter of puttering and planning to prepare for next season. Expect lots of questions!

Welcome aboard from a fellow R25 skipper.
