I am sure we are not alone in this one - in the glee of unpacking all the "stuff" that came with the new boat, we somehow lost track of what these two tool kits are for.

Help!?

The one on the left looks like the default tool kit for your engine.

If you google the name shown on the one on the right, it seems to go to a German company that makes fuel things. Perhaps something for the fuel tank sensors or like that?

Sparky --- The photo on the right is what I mentioned in another thread (Tool kits?). They are the metrics that go with your engine. If you turn the big spanner over you will see numbers on each end. This corresponds to the size of bolt head. Don't know what the bottle is for, probably an oil container. Warning, these spanners (wrenches) are lightly nickel plated and are easily attacked by salt water, keep them high and dry. The other photo most likely is an oil change pump (only part is shown). This is for changing oil in the engine sump and gear box. I personally let a good mechanic do this work now, even though I have worked on engines most of my life. Changing your own oil is not a big deal, but finding a place to recycle the oil can sometimes be a problem. This could be the start of a whole new adventure for you. Go out and buy a good set of coveralls and dive in.

The one on the right is for changing the oil in your generator. I haven't seen the one on the left before?

But Andrew, You are supposed to know EVERYTHING!!!! This kit definitely came with the boat. I guess since I have not needed it in 11 months I must have duplicated the parts in my personal tool kit....

Sparky --- Since I don't know my left from my right, I will just say "the photo with wrenches" shows the kit that also came with my Yanmar 110. Yanmar probably figured that most folks don't carry metrics in our tool kit. I got this kit before Andrew came on board. He really does know everything, if it's important. In two years I haven't used these tools either.

The brass gizzmo in the photo on the right is a completely useless device for sucking the oil out of the generator. If you currently have a device which you use to suck the oil out of the main engine thru the dip stick hole, use the same device with the generator.
