Welcome to the TugNuts
Thie is the lift we use on our 27 http://boatlifts4less.com/boathoistusa/ ... se_lif.htm we have it set up with slings rather than a cradle. For your boat I would consider a dual motor setup. We have a single compounded but it is probably at its limit. The rating compounded is 17K but the motor struggles a bit.

You might look at photo albums "Nellie Too" or "Shared Dream" for the Pacer Lift which is a 12v lift system for storing Kayaks of dingys on the top.

I have a Pacer lift which I am not using on my R 29
 
Oops I screwed up! Wrong kind of boat lift. 😀

I am using a Sunlift from Seattle on my R-29.
12 v system.
