...have you found to be the most appropriate for tug owners, cruising, etc?

I buy Pacific Yachting, a Canadian magazine, but they cover Washington also.

Surprisingly the free magazine from BoatUs is pretty good and has information more germane to general boating issues than most of the other publications except planning potential voyages and visiting specific ports.

BoatU.S. also has a "Trailering Magazine" that they distribute quarterly to there members. Not sure if all members receive this or just the ones who have BoatU.S. Trailering coverage added to their annual membership. Lakeland Boating is a good magazine for the Great Lakes area, Southern Boating Magaizine for down south lakes and the river system.

Passagemaker, because deep down inside I am a long-range, displacement hulled, 60,000 lb boat that is circumnavigating the globe over three years, only to return and start circumnavigating again to exotic, cool places. But on the outside I am a "cute" semi-displacement hulled, easy to handle, cheap to own Ranger Tug with a lot of big boat systems that are covered in Passagemaker. I am also still married to a gal for whom it's the destination and not the journey, and that pretty much covers it. Still, the fantasy lives on....

Passagemaker has an app that stinks. Still I recommend it.

Thanks for all the information. We found a copy of Pacific Yachting and also found the Pacific Yachting Blue Pages magazine at the Nanaimo Boat Show.
