What Dingy to buy

I have the 29 feet Ranger Tug with swim step and railing I.m looking to purchase the Walker Bay RID 275 already got the 2 HP Honda.I emailed Walker Bay 3 times and get no answers I want to know if I can use the Weaver snap davit glued on the rubber tube for lifting it up on the side. Does anybody out there have an answer to that. Also if any better idea as to mounting a dingy let me know.

We bought our Walker Bay at Alki Beach Boats in Seattle. If that is who you are trying to contact via email, do yourself a favor and pick up the phone... he's not too savvy on the computer. We made our deal via fax/phone... no email.

Thanks Zuma no I.m buying from a dealer here in Campbell River I emailed the Walker Bay direct with my question 3 times newer heard a word from them called them on the phone this morning talked to a machine that said they would call me back still waiting,

We also bought a Walker Bay 270 (hardbottom rbi) from Chris Cowman of Alki Beach Boats at the Seattle show. Suggest you call and if you get a recording, remind him of his long ties with the Livingston's.

We've ordered a Hurley davit and expect delivery this week. One of our criteria was that the dingy ride horizontal to the water, not obstructing the view for passengers in the back. Will take pictures and report on how it works! We also checked out the KellyRoosOlossen (sp?) - visited their factory in south Seattle. Very nice people; very attractive, very large, very substantial, very impressive - 🙂 BUT very pricey (probably worth it is one has the $$$!)
