This remote control was on my boat when I bought it. I have no idea what this is for, no documentation on board. Marinco is a marine power company, they sell shore power cords. Any ideas? The SOS button is intriguing, I'm halfRemote.jpg tempted to push it and see what happens! 😀

Thank you. I'll check it out. I'm not sure it's working correctly. I assume the SOS is a flashing beacon, either slow or fast. It looks like there is some sort of directional control also, I'll have to see how it works. I appreciate the info.

It’s great to have a remote. One person can use it while the other pilots the boat.

And remember to turn your navigation lights first, otherwise the spotligth will not turn on.

Mine will work regardless of the nav. light switch position. The navigation light and the anchor light are on the same rocker but the searchlight iseems to be remote only, I can't find a switch for it. The remote started working correctly after a quick battery change.

Interesting. All I can find is the fuse for it

The remote for my searchlight on a 2025 R29 CB is on the dash to the right of the wheel. On the attached pic to the the right of the Garmin instrument cover.IMG_4617.jpeg

I went ahead and mounted it on the dash next to the thruster remote on the left of it. It seemed like a natural fit.

Our RT 27 2011 has a jabso ? light, and it has a dedicated circuit breaker on the 12 volt panel.
