Our Journey is at Bedwell Marine Park at mooring bouy #6. We are about 150 feet from shore.
A few minutes ago something substantial hit the water between us an the shore. No sound other than that of the huge splash about 4 ft in diameter and 2-3 feet high. Nothing surfaced after the splash. The ripple from the splash was less than four inches high so not that big considering the size of the initial splash. There were bubbles coming up from the center the impact site which lasted about a minute or so.
Since the impact points was about 60 feet off shore I doubt it was a rock coming off the cliff at the shore. We did not hear anything before the splash.
Anybody got any ideas what we just witnessed?
