Hey all! We are new here. Just took our "new" 2014 R31 CB for a 4-night cruise and we are in love with her! That said, we'd love to bring our 12'6" and 14' BARK paddle boards (hard race boards) on the boat. We are having a hard time figuring out where is best to stow when not in use. The 12'6" weighs 21.5 pounds. 14' around 35 pounds. Can you strap them on top of the solar panels? Our thought is that sport racks for the side would create too much wind resistance and bounce all over during rough seas. Any other sport paddlers out there with ideas? Thanks much!

I use Magma SUP racks on my R-29 CB to carry surfskis (21', 27lbs) on both sides. Easy to mount to the railings on the command bridge, fairly straightforward to strap things down once the boards/boats are loaded, and the racks are padded so you can slide your craft into the racks instead of going over the top.

When we had our 2021R31 CB we carrried them on magma racks attached to the hand rails. Now we carry them on the same racks on our Solara 310 SB

This is amazing. Thank you so much! That's what we were thinking of doing.

Perfect - that's what we were looking at! And you didn't find them to be too much in wind resistance?
