Today's forecast for Nome is a high of 30 and low of 27. As I look at Weatherbug, it's 27F there now with a windchill of 16. Here in west central Ohio the forecast for today is a high in the mid 20's and it's 25 right now with a wind chill of 18. The low's are forecast to be around zero. It was -1 when we got up this morning. We've had various amounts of snow since before Christmas but the temperatures have been the big surprise. Looking at my boat docks, I don't think we'll dock the boat anytime soon.

Somehow, having the temperatures of Alaska without the beauty of the mountains, etc. just doesn't seem right.

Same story here in eastern Pennsylvania. April showers and May flowers can't be too far away..... can they? :?

Here in Georgia, our neighborhood deer often stop by to lick the frozen birdbath.

Pretty much the same in Orillia very cold tons of snow. Was able to get the cabin up to 70 with the diesel heater and a small electric heater in about 5 hours. Had a few glasses of wine and thought about being back in the water.. The wind rocking the boat on the trailer added to the feel of floating 🙂 Hoping to take me and the boat to warmer weather in March... fingers crossed 🙂

Judy and I live about 50 miles up the road from Jeff and Deb (Get~Aweigh) and it is nothing but snow and more snow.
I am beginning to think it is something about Ranger Tugs, our R25 (Just Dreamin') is sitting in it's heating storage barn on Lake Erie. Went up Friday, temp in building was 60, plugged in a small electric heater and brought cabin up to 70. Pulled out Keurig and had a nice cup of Dark Roast while just outside the door it was snowing, wind howling, harbor frozen over, ice fishing houses scattered around and I was dreaming of April while sitting in the cockpit of Just Dreamin'.

Well, I was going to brag about our Pensacola, Florida weather till I found my bilge water frozen....even with a heater on and the inside hatch open. She's on the trailer so I didn't think about the absence of the 64 degree bay water on the bottom. It trashed the bilge pump cartridge so I have a new one laying by the engine mount. I ain't puttin' her back until after the next two 20 degree nights. Our Florida blood isn't thick enough. How do you guys stand it??
