Saw your "old tug" at the factory Friday as we were looking at the parts and pieces of our new tug R-2731, " Buoy Navigator". Are you going to be at Anacortes this weekend?

Robert

Hi Robert,

We arrive Sunday night late. Will be at Cap Sante on Monday.

Herb and Willie, it appears congratulations are in order for becoming owners of a new R31. With the extra room you'll have room to get Jake a new playmate! Enjoy your new "Willie's Tug" by making lots of new cruising memories on her this summer.

Thanks for upsizing! We are so happy and excited to be cruising in a "new" to us tug! We think the tug is so great. We are anxious to get out and use it. Hope to meet up this summer.
Mike and Chris

Herb & Willie,

Congratulations on your new R31. We just completed the same upgrade from an R27. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Anyone have any idea how many R-31s are out there? How many total ranger tugs are there? I have already been asked these questions multiple times and my tug isn't even at home port yet.

When I'm asked that question, I usually say something like, "Not enough, we can always make room for another Ranger Tug in the Chesapeake Bay. Now if your interested, I can provide you with the number of Mark Shulstead of Pocket Yachts so you can order yours." It usually gets a chuckle.

Congrats on your new 31...she is beautiful!

Thanks,

We are enjoying finding places for all gear that was on our 27. Hopefully we can get out and do a proper sea trial soon.

Pictures to follow as soon as we catch our breath.

Congrats Herb and Willie

Looking forward to seeing her, we'll be bring our boat into Cap Sante in May to join you guys!

Don

We have been in Anacortes for a couple of weeks now taking delivery of the new Willie's Tug R31.

Time has been short with loading all the stuff from the 27, but it is coming together nicely. We have been out for a couple of half day cruises in between all the work though. Back to Texas in a couple of days for about a month and then back here to prepare to leave for Alaska this year. Ronnie Gonzales has been super to work with on our short punch list. All of the Ranger Tug support personnel are top notch. Everyone works hard to make sure the Ranger Tug ownership experience is the best it can be.

Even with that some things need to be changed....quickly. Here was our first emergency fix. A shutoff switch on the shower head.

It all fits....maybe.

Now just where is that flux gate compass?

Herb and Willie, we're glad you're enjoying your new "Willie's Tug" and obviously we are very envious of your pending Alaska trip, as this is a boating adventure that we have on our boating bucket list. Have a grand time and when you do go please keep the Tugnuts Forum posted with your wonderful photo's.

Hi Jim, and Lisa,

Thanks for the kind words, we will keep taking pictures and posting them. And just so you know it has not been all work here is a shot of happy hour with the Perrys and Ostlunds
