Wine Cooler Error

On my 2019 R31 we have the factory installed wine cooler that we use for wine and some produce.

Earlier today the cooler displayed ER 3.

Looking online there is a reset button on the back of the unit.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Keith,

Yes, that is the heat limiter reset switch. The heat limiter activates when the unit gets too hot. It shuts down the refrigerator to keep it from possibly getting damaged. This may have happened during some unusually hot weather or similar circumstance. You can reset the switch and the refrigerator should run fine. Hope this helps, but let us know.
