Just got and put on my new Fisher Canvas winter cover! looks good. About a 3-4 year payback over shirnkwrapping.

Add picture to my album.
That is a nice cover. Does Fisher have a pattern for 28 Cutwater or did you have them custom fit it to your boat? Is it all one cover?

Yes Fisher had a C28 on file but since I’m only about an hour away from them they still came out one day and measured just to ensure no changes were made. Yes mine is one piece. I did see about a month ago they posted a picture of Tug 31 on their Facebook page and said it was 2 piece cover.

I had one helper and took us about an hour and half to get it all done. I expect it to be under an hour next year. I believe they use a different material than they have in the past which they say is lighter weight. I just needed to be cared around the solar panel edgers as they were sharp and I covered them up with foam and the vhf atenia was a PIA as it kept getting caught when pulling it over.

I ended up getting quotes directly from Fischer and then I found on the hulltruth that their one rep actually sells them for a few hundreds less. His name is Darren and his website is http://pmwinterboatcovers.com. His username on hulltruth is coverguy and you can see has very good reviews from others.

I’ll update this post in the spring to see how taking it off is and if we get any snowfall.
