This is our first winter on the Chesapeake with our delightful Cutwater 2025 248C, and I'm in the process of winterizing it. I've found the two seawater inlet hoses are caulked as well as clamped, making them very difficult to remove for adding antifreeze with a funnel. Is there a more elegant and easy way to get antifreeze into the seawater plumbing (HVAC, live well, washdown, etc)? Also, I'll be grateful for any guidance on winterizing the hot water system. I've drained the fresh water tank, added antifreeze, and run it trhough all the taps, hot and cold. Thank you.

I purchased a spare strainer assembly and epoxied a hose nipple in the top. I use a bucket with a valve with 3-4 foot hose and gravity feed the strainers.

Great solution. Thanks for the idea.
