Wiper and wasps

Anyone else have issues with wasps building nests on the wiper arms? Removed the nest, wiped down the arm and yet they keep coming back. Cover off/cover on makes no difference. Any hacks?

Peppermint oil on a rag, give them a quick wipe and retreat if/when needed. Haven't had any issues since.
