I have a tug R-23 year is 2023. When the switch is activated the wiper comes on but we are unable to switch it back off. Oddly, after several minutes running it does stop.
It must be a delay switch issue, should we replace the switch or is there another factor we should look for? Thanks, Tim

Swap switch wires with the wiper switch beside it. Does the problem follow, or is it the same wiper that is problematic?

Sounds like either a bad switch or a connection issue at the switch or wiper motor. As noted swap switches if problem follows check connections at the motor.

Could very well be the switch. The types of switches used on our tugs have a little spring inside that "flips" the contacts when you move the rocker button. One mode of failure of these types of switches is the spring hangs up, causing a delay in either the on or off function. Eventually the spring breaks and it will stick in that position. Swap switches. If that doesn't prove it, then it is likely the wiper motor not going into "park" immediately, and this too will eventually fail in either the on or off mode.
