I’m getting ready to install a Garmin 18 XHD Radar and wondered if anyone has routed the wires inside the mast (I realize this will require cutting an access hole) rather than zip tying the wires to the outside of the mast?
And whether it’s worth trying to create an outside plugin point for the wiring similar to the lighting plugin on the cabin top to facilitate mast removal if that becomes necessary.
