I am looking for some good ideas for gadgets to put under the tree or use as stocking stuffers for my captain. What are some of the items on the top of your wish lists?

For inexpensive stuffers, I use a lot of Gear Ties all over the boat. U can get these at Home Depot, REI or Amazon.

A small, but more expensive item might be a ResQLink PLB

Happy Holidays!

Pledge Revitalization Oil for your R27's interior untreated wood, a portable air compressor if you trailer your boat and a spray can of Dialectric Grease are all useful items.

Another idea is the most current edition of the "Waggoner Cruising Guide" for the PNW.

i really like my Sirius Signal SOS Distress Light with Distress Flag available from amazon. no longer need to worry about outdated flares.

Prism metal polish, a gift card for Ranger Tug spare parts, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit calendar, some scratch off lottery tickets, floor mat with your boats name, Boats name napkins, some of his favorite alcohol ( you can MAYBE share) one of Jim Favors books.

I second the image stabilizing binoculars idea. I do not know many people that have them because at over $1,000 😱 they are not purchased often. But they actually work very well. 😛

Multiply the cost of the boat by .75% and that is what you should spend on binoculars  That formular worked at convincing my wife that I was within budget.
