Wood finish used on tables?

Hello,
Would love to know what finish the factory used on the tables for my 2018 R27 OB.
It seems durable, resistant to water, and easy to clean up. I would like to use it to finish the drawer faces and cabinet facing, as this would ease fading from the sun, and cut down on the amount of maintenance needed to keep the wood looking good.

Hey Ross,

We spray these with a urethane finish, this might make it hard to do the same on the cabinets but understand that the teak takes some maintenance to keep looking nice. I would also recommend to install the canvas over the windows and close the blinds to cut down on the sun bake on the wood, don't forget the over head hatch windows too. Hope this helps!!

If your teak has been oiled in the past as part of maintenance, getting urethane to be successfully applied may be a challenge, as most urethane products require a clean, raw wood to adhere to the surface. Years of experience as a hobby woodworker has taught me that lesson many times.

I’ve used Scott’s liquid gold on them, as recommending this site before, But it doesn’t last long, and seems to off gas pretty quickly (a month or so) leaving no oil behind.

I think I will pull one of the less visible drawers and use it as a test case. Perhaps a wipe on poly urethane? Or tru-oil? Or tung oil?
