There’s another option to replacing a broken exterior wood door. I was tried of the constant maintenance those exterior doors and frames required. So I bought a custom baitwell door with frame made of Starboard. Looks great.

Went from two small doors to one really big one which really helped with access to the rudder and macerator under the cockpit floor.
Used BoatOutfitters.com for my door. Very pleased with the quality and speed of delivery from their Florida location.
As I said, just another option to consider….
