Subject: Wooden slat protecting open Nav window for R-27/OB model
With the Nav window fully open on the R-27/OB model it's just too easy for any object laying on the dash adjacent to the window to slid out the window. Placing a wooden slat on the outer edge of the dash will help protect things from disappearing out the window.
This slat measures 15" long, 3.5" high and 0.5" thick. It's a scrap piece if vertical grain fur. Top corners rounded, sanded smooth with a light teak-like stain. It fits snuggly/tightly between the windshield's port side pillar and the dash fiber glass and really requires no screws or bolts to hold it in place.
