My 2014 R31 CB has a Xintex unit that is emitting an annoying, constant tone. The mute button no longer works. If I press both bottom button simultaneously it will stop for about 10 seconds.
I ordered a replacement sensor with a 20 foot cord but do not see where it runs and....the wiring is so tight, I can barely get the head unit pulled out far enough to unplug the sensor which, when replaced with the new one, continues the alarm.
Fireboy/ Xintex recommends that I de-power the head unit and then plug in the new sensor....it needs to re-set.
My questions to the group:
1.) How best to de-power the head unit?Is there a breaker or fuse that would allow me to power it down? If so, where? I see no way to access that wiring loom without removing the stove and I do not know where it terminates to unplug it from power.
2.) Where does the fume sensor terminate? I do not see it in the propane locker.
3.) If I do need to remove the stove to get access, what's that procedure look like?
