Hi all, I just picked up our 2019 R23, last week. I put some fuel in it at the gas station while on the trailer, about 40 gallons before it clicked off, while filling very slowly. Put it in the water and the Yamaha Fuel gauge showed all blue bars, all good I thought. I’ve run it for about 20 miles at 30mph use, and trolled at 2mph for about 12 hours and the bars are still all blue. Any ideas on what I can check or calibrate to get this gauge working?

Keep going. You haven't used enough fuel. It takes a while for the bars to drop. Once it starts to drop, it will go quickly.

Consider using the "Trip" menu on the Yamaha digital display screen to get an accurate measurement of the fuel used since last fill up. You will need to reset when you fill up.

The fuel consumption listed on the Garmin is probably more accurate. The Yamaha gauge is mechanical. If you reset the Garmin to show full tanks when you fuel up, it will track pretty accurately based on actual fuel consumption (Settings:Vessel:Fuel if I recall correctly). The R-23 has an 80 gallon tank I believe, so make sure the Garmin is set up to reflect that.

Thank you both. I will do both of these.
