Yamaha generator storage

I recently purchased a Yamaha 2000 generator. Small, relatively quiet, and not too heavy. I will be pleased to have it as back-up on longer voyages! I’ve been wondering where to store it on my Cutwater 30 and I would appreciate suggestions- I’m sure I’m not the first. I was thinking on the ledge under the stern cockpit seat as it’s a little more difficult to get at so we don’t use it so often. So whaddaya think?
