Yammer heat shield

We have the Yanmar 4YB2 180HP in our 2012 R27. In looking at the service manual it states that the heat shield should be replaced on the turbo charger every 250 hours. Does anyone with the same engine we have have an insulated heat shield? We do not on our boat. Or is the manual referring to something else?

Its probably there but difficult to see under the shinny metal cover by the turbo. There are a few older posts under "heat shield". No one has ever figured this one out or they haven't posted the info.
Knotflying may have some insight.

Fwiw, I had our 27 into a Yanmar shop in Jax last summer and had the tech take a look at our turbo heat shield.

I thought it was pretty beat up looking and needed replacement as per the manual, but he said it was still good.

So maybe just having it inspected would do?
