Yanmar display "Sys Change Detected" ?

The display default setting is for "Speed Over Water" which requires a paddle wheel sensor connected to the i8150 engine interface (or some other NMEA 2000 SOW source). This can be changed to show GPS derived speed (Speed Over Ground), the Yanmar Electronic Control System Technical manual describes the keypresses to change any of the fields in the Quad displays.
I find the display so difficult to read that I do not use it except to get engine hours, I display all data of interest on the Garmin in the combination screen mode.
