Yanmar engine guage not working

Hi all,

I have a C-26 2012, just yesterday the Yanmar electronic engine ( i5601e) gauge stopped working, have had no trouble with it previously, later in the day it came back on, and today it is again off and won't come on, I have the gauges on my 5212 Garmin and the engine appears to be running fine- I checked the connection to the unit- but no luck, is this thing on a fuse? if so any ideas as to where it may be located? any other ideas are appreciated.

I don't think a fuse issue would be intermittent. It sounds more like a connection issue. If the plug at the unit seemed okay I would try to find where it plugs into at the other end. I believe this is connected to the nmea backbone somewhere along the line, but I'm not sure.
