You’ve got a problem with your boat. We’ve all been there. You share your problem on this forum and ask for help. The good people of this forum respond to your question with the best knowledge they have. I personally think it would be good manners to respond to the advice you’ve been given. If the advise is wrong, say so. If the advise is helpful, say so. It’s just the right thing to do to close the loop.

Let me thank you for your help and advice as it is greatly appreciated! However the best appreciation is to pass that on to others! The best pay back that one can accept is to know that your good deed is going to be payed back many times over a long time after we're gone. I've noticed that my advice and knowledge is being given by the people that I've helped over the years, not only on boats but on farming equipment and livestock. I don't want a big thank you or anything else, just to know that I helped someone in need is enough to satisfy my hart! Please don't stop helping just because someone is to busy to acknowledge your reply I'm sure it is appreciated, keep up the good work and spirits. A good shipmates is priceless and you are a true shipmate.
