Getting ready to put Danca back in the water. I need to replace the zinc's, is there somewhere up here in BC Canada that I can purchase the right zinc's from I.m located close to Campbell River.

If you have a few days before you need to install them and launch try http://www.boatzincs.com They should have about anything you might need for zincs. I've used them for over 3 years and have been very satisfied. They are very reasonably priced, efficient and very helpful on the phone.

In Victoria BC I get thruster zincs from Delta Marine out in Sidney. 2075 Tyron Road. 250-656-2639. They are a Sidepower dealer. Zincs are $13 and shear pins for the bow thruster are $5.

Check the downloads on the homepage. You can also purchase from Ranger.

On the Island, if you know the part number, you should be able to get what you need at any decent size chandelry. Check westmarine.ca and see if they are listed. You could also check Trotac Marine in Victoria (250-386-2341. Campbell knows everything.

Steve Phillips at Canoe Cove (canoecovemanufacturing@telus.net) in Sidney is a Ranger rep and one that Andrew Custis says he would have work done by on his own boat.

Boatzinc.com has worked for me. UPS in about a week and half the price of WM.
