I would think it’s one of those things you will have to keep an eye on. My limited experience suggests I wouldn’t go any longer than 3-4 months without checking. The first year our thruster anode was almost gone in 4 months, the second year it didn’t wear very much at all. So it really depends on many factors not just length of time in the water.

We're also in Elliott Bay Marina. I have Emerald City Diving dive the boat 3 times per year. They do a bottom inspection, clean the running gear, and replace zincs as needed. This service routine has been more than enough to keep up with zincs. They rarely replace all zincs on the same dive.

As Bruce has mentioned.... diver inspection is the best for keeping an eye on the underwater zincs.
We keep our boat in Port of Edmonds marina and have Double J Diving service perform our underwater zinc and hull inspections. What I like about Double J Diving is that they take underwater photos (before and after) of everything and post them to me after they've done the inspection. They also leave the zincs they've removed in my cockpit for my own inspection. They will over time adjust their schedule based on what they find. So it could be they start at 3 months and end up at 6 month inspections, etc.
I've employed Double J Diving for 8 years and they are super good and very knowledgeable and always call me before and after inspection. They send Email invoices and one can pay online.
