Hello All,
Making a list for winter projects: My question is, are there zincs to be replaced for the D3 Volvo 200 hp and are there zincs to be replaced for the Yanmar diesel generator?
I found zincs on the bow and stern thruster props, main prop and none on the trim tabs.
I want to say the R27 inboard diesel winterizing video on Youtube was excellent and easy to follow! Everything went as instructed!!

Hello Patti,

The D3 engines do not have zincs on them. There is a small zinc on the generator, there are instructions on how to change the zinc in the manual ( I had to look up the steps for a customer the other day because I couldn't remember so I know it's there). If the boat is moored in the water the tabs should have zincs on them.
