Please identify this part for me

Hi, I have a nail R23 and this part is located in the middle back under the opening below the seat. It runs intermittently even when power is completely turned off to the boat. No shore power, batteries in off position.

That is by design on that particular pump. It cycles on every 2.5 minutes to test for water.
