One of my bow lights has permanent moisture in it. What to do about it? suggestions?

Hi there,

You can remove the light by removing the bottom screw and then the bezel. You will then need to remove the attachment screws to get the light off. There is a foam seal behind the light. Dry out the light and install the seal, making sure the light is pressed hard enough against it to not let in any more moisture. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ralf

Thanks Ralf. Will give that a shot next week. Hopefully the seal is okay.

Roger that. Let us know how it works out

Ralf, Another question - do you know the size of the cockpit flag pole? is it 1" or 1.25", or something else. It is challenging to measure as there is a recessed secondary hole. Thank you.

Hi there,

I believe that is a one inch tube. That's per the manufacturer specs.

Cheers!

Ralf, I did get the docking light bezel off. The water infiltration is due to the fact that the square head mounting screws were overtightened during assembly (top screws) causing significant cracks in the plastic lens housing. I sent you an email on this just now with photos attached
