Hello everyone- quick question for the group. I have a Kisae 20A battery charger which stopped working. It is showing Code- E03. According to the Kisae manual, that code is "Battery is connected backwards". I double checked all of the connections and I am sure that nothing is connected backwards. Anyone run into this previously? Thanks.

Did you ever get a answer?
This is happening to me now. Double checked all battery connections. I did just replace the house bank batteries. I have no idea why it thinks it is reversed?

I fixed my E03 problem.
Procedure:
  • Turn OFF/Disconnect AC
  • Disconnect Channel 1 (House Bank Positive)
  • Wait 10 seconds
  • Reconnect Channel 1
  • Disconnect Common (Ground)
  • Wait 10 Seconds
  • Reconnect Common
  • Turn ON/Reconnect AC

Fixed.

Seems to me it was mad that I essentially replaced all battery banks, and E03 is a default (I don’t know what to do) Error code.

mcmspark-----a thank you for your post....Just replaced all 4 original 12v batteries in my 2018 R27OB....(BTW---original, mfg date of mid 2017......they were working fine still, just replaced as cautionary...AGM types...).....got the dreaded E03 error code......read your post, along with some other research...the manual is wrong, states reverse polarity......after following your procedure, all works fine now.....I think my charger just missed the old batts and was throwing a fit....
