At the helm...the wire runs down through a small rigging hole on the starboard side. At the transducer (located under the step down to the v-berth)...the wire runs to port, so it must crossover somewhere, right? If anyone has some ideas for me, I'd sure love to hear them! I don't think I can simply tape new to old and pull it through because the Garmin connector is large and the wire is likely zip tied at points along the way.

The wire runs across the waste and water tank after passing through the hole on the port side of the transducer. Your best option would be to run a new wire down the starboard side of the hull behind the dash. You will have easier access if you remove the galley fridge, which should allow you to route the wire into the shower pump compartment.

Thanks Jared! I pulled the fridge...that opens up a lot of possibilities, however, there are only two very small openings in the shower pump compartment and neither is big enough to route the transducer cable through. Soooo...If I'm gonna start drilling, so you have a recommendation? Is there a cavity between the head/shower wall and the wall under the console? That would be a straight shot. Or, Can I widen the hole looking aft in the pump compartment...it appears to be near the top of the black water tank and I don't love the idea of drilling right there...but if there is room over that tank, it might be the best option..dunno? I'd love your advice...thanks!
