I am considering a 2012 c26 with a 4by2-180. It has about 600 hours and the condition seems good. I understand this is a marinized BMW engine and is different from the standard Yanmar 4 cylinder motor, that has an excellent reputation. Are there any precautions or maintenance issues that I should be aware of? My objective is to address any maintenance issues prior to the next boating season.
