As for post-purchase factory work, the answer is no; they would refer you to a boatyard (I would ask CSR Marine for a quote at that time). I have no idea how much adding an autopilot would cost, but it is a great addition. I'd consider getting the quote to add it at delivery time (ask your dealer for that).

Also you could have a Cutwater dealer install which would be about the closet you could get to a "factory" install. If it were me I would do what I could to install the autopilot during the build. Perhaps sacrifice a less critical and easier component to install later. Any issues can then be resolved by the same source rather than finger pointing at a later date. I can't see it being a less expensive install after the fact either.

+1 to knotflying. I now notice the Q is about a 2017 vessel. Since autopilot installed at build time is almost $6k, it would have to cost more than that. So maybe in the range of $8-10k?? OTOH there are less expensive APs than Garmin.
If that range seems worthwhile, then I would call the boatyards that Kevin mentions and ask about options. Maybe someone here has an estimate to share?

A Garmin Reactor-40 hydraulic corepack with smart pump lists for about $4,000, add another say $1,000 for hoses, screws and such, plusses beer and bandages and a trip to the chiropractor a DIY could do it for about $5,000. Lots of videos on how to on the web. Bob
