Day 3 on our new Ranger Tug 31, we discovered the aft cabin mattress was wet near the foot of the bed. Found the rear air conditioner water tray was overflowing. To see if the drain hose was working properly, the dealership ran water through the drain hose from the sump end and it flowed into the air conditioner tray, indicating the hose is flowing fine.
The dealership said the air conditioner was improperly mounted by the factory and the water tray is incorrectly positioned lower than the drain outlet so water does not flow into the drain hose. They attempted to lift the water tray end of the air conditioner by driving a wedge under it.
The water tray is still overflowing. What now? We need that air conditioner to enjoy our new boat here in Florida!

Hello,

Thank you for posting on the Tugnuts. I will send you a private email connecting back in with the dealership making sure we all work together to solve the air conditioner problem on your boat.

Thank you again,

I took delivery of a new 31B in March. I have the identical problem.
Will you please advise me how you addressed it and if it resolved?
My salesman is attempting to help by attaching the drain hose to the rear (aft) of the pan, and I will be checking that tomorrow to see if it worked. But I really would like to hear from you.

Did you receive info on how to correct this?

I have a 2022 R29 and just found water and rust in the drain pan of the aft a/c unit which is at the foot of the "cave" bunk....I used a paper towel to sop up the water. (I haven't had a chance to check the forward a/c unit.)

Yes, it did work. No more water.

Hello,

I noticed the exact same problem this past fall winterizing my 2021 R-29CB. Could you please share any pictures on how you resolved your problem.

Thanks

Trobbinsd,
Sorry. I was out for
A few weeks. I will try to get you a picture of new connection this week. My salesman was the one who reconnected a drain hose.

Thank You that would be great.

Could I see the pictures as well? thank you.

I have the pics now but don’t know how to attach them to this response. Send me your emails and I’ll send them on.
So sorry for the long delay.
