anchor light

As part of my prep for the boating season, I swapped out my running lights and anchor light with LED bulbs. The new running lights work fine. Unfortunately the anchor light is inop. No matter how much I try to ensure both ends of the bulb make good contact with the fixture, it doesn't light up. I even bought and tried a spare bulb, but NO JOY.

Does anyone have advice for an electrical novice on troubleshooting?

For LED, a working bulb may depend on current direction. Flip bulb around.

Thanks, but, unfortunately, flipping the bulb around didnt work.

Did you take your voltmeter and verify power at the two terminals for the bulb? Some LED's can be pretty sensitive about the voltage they need.

Gearing up for an Inoperable Masthead Light on our 2008 R25. Horn also Inoperable.
Port and Starboard Nav Lamps are fine.
I find no voltage at the 4 pin connector at the leading side of the smokestack...
